@bunniestudios Something that occured to me, since origional (non-IME) coreboot laptops won't receive microcode for Spectre: How hard would it be to re-layout Novena to fit in place of a thinkpad motherboard? I've seen people making new thinkpad motherboards, so I thought I'd ask
if you're good at layout, it's not too bad. Mostly just the tedium of reversing the physical dimensions and getting it all to line up. But these days, there's better/more powerful and almost as open options on the market.

The easier thing to do, assuming you're not trying to target one of the insanely ultra-thin laptops, is to pick up a SOM and build a breakout board. SolidRun and Variscite both make http://i.MX SOMs that take care of the high-speed routing for you.
