    Finally experienced female pantaloon bees (Dasypoda hirtipes) returning to their nest burrows with their pollen-laden pantaloons!! 😍

    My first bumble of the year today!! Unfortunately she was a very squished Bombus hypnorum queen. So here are photos of a much happier queen 🐝 Still going to take it as a good sign that Spring is on its way...
