    The Invasive Species Forum is run by a retired USDA Forest Service scientist, & more than 1/2 of participants work for state and federal agencies. Organizer announced the cancellation from his personal email because he is not allowed to work or travel. 3/n

    Govt shutdown continues to hurt science and conservation. Today, the 30th USDA Interagency Research Forum on Invasive Species ceased to exist. It was canceled because of the “partial lapse in government funding.” 1/n
