Someone on Tumblr asked after the Middle Egyptian version of "OK, boomer", and I thought that might be of some interest here, too. The hieroglyphs read "tiw iAw"; "Indeed, old man".

A line of Egyptian hieroglyphs. The glyphs of the first word are the pestle, the quail chick, and the seated man with hand to his mouth. The glyphs for the second word are the reed leaf, the vulture, the quail chick, and the standing old man with walking stick.

This short thread… ‘makes sense’ to me. The argument Ryan Grim lays out, I mean, not necessarily the strategy itself.

Incredibly meaningless and trivial phone/tablet question. When did you last materially, as in MASSIVELY, change your ‘home’ screens, the arrangement of icons on your phone or tablet?

Y’see, I’m now wondering if Ted Cruz thinks COP 26 is about the police. OK, that’s a lie. I’m not wondering at all. Ted Cruz definitely thinks COP 26 is about policing, doesn’t he?

Today, as of 2 minutes ago, all 4 of the Top Presidential succession roles are held by Democrats, and 3 of them changed today. President, VP, Speaker & president pro tem of the Senate. Senator Patrick Leahy from Vermont just became the last of those. (It *was* Chuck Grassley.)
