I just now heard it on the radio and you are correct. It's the first step to a police state. The armed forces are going to have to decide right now if they are going to follow the Constitution, or the Russian Agent.

Everything is a test to see how far he can go as an autocrat: the travel ban, the baby cages, the troops at the border before the election, and now this (to name a few). It's the boiling frog scenario. The Nazis didn't start with Dachau and Auschwitz.

If he got away with declaring a national emergency to bring in the military to take land away from citizens to build his wall, why wouldn't he use it everywhere when Congress doesn't agree with him? Total slippery slope.
