easier to sleep on my stomach than on my back. my theory is it protects the vitals. similar xp for you folks?

I can't remember the last time I've fallen asleep on my back and I think you're on to something with your hypothesis. However, I briefly remember from a Ben Greenfield podcast that there are some benefits to back sleeping.

yeah, back sleeping bags I don't wake up with a sore neck. interesting how different each feels, on my back is contemplative, where as on my stomach feels like burrowing into a cave.

maybe this is why weighted blankets work for some folks, feels like the ground.
