so far, i have enjoyed badlands, thin red line, days of heave and tree of life. he progressively moves farther and farther away from the traditional three-act structure which some people think is pretentious--a meaningless criticism.

even enjoyed doesn't really capture the feeling (except for thin red line which I enjoyed the first time around). memorable and interesting would be better words. didn't enjoy tree of life when i saw it the first time but it has stuck with me
