Anybody have any resources or leads on types of adult play? I'm thinking of Piaget's stages and the corresponding types of play - couldn't there be something analogous for Kegan's adult development framework?
nice! I was thinking theory sections might point you towards some types of play. I did an improv course (which I think was inspired by him) I really lost myself in the exercises once or twice. great feeling that.

there was this one where there's a whole group of you. and you're either leading (doing some action) or following (copying someone else's action). this results in crazy emergent behaviours, we all stomp in a circle, singing. tiny actions get magnified into interesting movements

another; you're in pairs and you're "sculpting" your partner. moving their arms, body and head into interesting poses. when the mood strikes your partner they become the sculpter and you get positioned instead. some of those transitions are magical. going from active to passive.
