IMHO: How the #WCS games are showing at least one key difference between Koreans and foreigners. Thread. 1/

As games go longer, foreigners gravitate more and more toward "build a big army, walk across the map and win". 2/

For example, Snute v Stats G3. Snute had a big advantage, could've torn Stats apart with multi-tasking. Instead chose a costly attack. 3/

Snute didn’t get outplayed per se. Rather he didn’t use his advantage - which was earned by playing better - in the right way. 4/

The "right way" to play StarCraft is to snowball advantages, find value and "get more ahead". Koreans are disciplined in doing this. 5/

TY v. Snute is a clinic in how Korean Terrans pull apart Zerg players and find value instead of trying to win all at once. 6/

Compare with Kelazhur v. Dark G3. Kela played awesome, but the “deathball” style is risky, especially in bio TvZ. 7/

Dark caught him out of position once and immediately won. 8/
