I always feel sad when I think about how excited CS players are to see new maps, contrasted with how uncaring most SC2 people are.
w.r.t cs players' excitement, a factor worth considering is that maps in cs change very infrequently compared to sc2

@LiquidTLO even excluding MM in CS, there is a proud community of people who play on community servers with new and upcoming map/mappers

Again that's partly cause they're so incredibly map starved in comparison
