I appreciate the overview of the history, but still generally wary about drawing any conclusions about cause-effect. Also, would be wary about ascribing motivation to any of Blizzard's moves since they're never almost never on record.
also, even if the article is framed in terms of RELATIVE and not ABSOLUTE skill, the Korean elitist in me is obliged to complain about not giving enough attention to the viewpoint that Koreans are just worse now
