Read what they said: "Across N franchises, we are expanding our development teams." Why would anyone expect StarCraft to be in that list? *They told us directly at the public Blizzcon panel* that they are focused on coop, not new single-player content.

“They cancelled work on a Starcraft FPS”. Yeah, they also cancelled a Diablo III expansion and a Diablo IV project. No one is arguing that Blizzard isn’t interested in the Diablo franchise.
