    BREAKING: The number of prisoners harming themselves in jails across England and Wales has reached a new all-time high. Figures from show there were 61,461 incidents in 12 months to the end of last September - up 16% on the previous year and double the total in 2015.

    Latest youth justice stats. Familiar patterns both good and bad. Fewer FTEs and kids in trouble. But kids in the CJS more complex and vulnerable with serious crimes. Even so, we see a small reoffending rate decrease. Familiar issues too.
