  1. Look who's started venturing out of the pouch! Holly and Quano's joey continues to grow & thrive. As the joey continues to get steadier on its feet, it'll spend more and more time outside, but return to mom's pouch for feeding and naps. 🦘

    Did you know that all tigers have large white spots on the backs of their ears? One prominent theory as to why is that the spots serve as "false eyes," which can make make the tiger seem even larger to a potential predator.

    Did you know that Mexican wolves nearly became extinct due to habitat loss? Brookfield Zoo is part of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife's Mexican Wolf Recovery Program, an effort to use cross-fostering to help the population grow and return the wolves to their natural habitat.
