I took this photo as we were leaving #NotreDame about an hour before it caught on fire. I almost went up to the dad and asked if he wanted it. Now I wish I had. Twitter if you have any magic, help him find this

@ everyone in my dm’s: -I do not know for sure if it was a dad and daughter, it’s simply the dynamic I observed from them while debating on interrupting this moment. It may be an uncle, brother, friend, who knows until we find them. -It was taken at 5:57 local time (1/?)

The intended subject of the photo was the building. Notre Dame faces west, and we were coming from Luxembourg Gardens which is southwest of the cathedral. On our way out I turned around to snap a pic of the main towers in a single frame. While checking (1/2)
to make sure it wasn’t blurry, I noticed the moment between the man and child that was captured in the foreground. The only living subjects I take photos of intentionally are dogs. Thank you for your cynicism. (2/2)
So sad to see the building looking serine and safe in the sun. Just before this dreadful disaster.
