Still, the G7 will discuss the "polycrises" the world faces: climate change and the environment, the energy and digital transitions, debt, development, health, democracy, gender and more.

Very important. Now lots of evidence that positive, simple stories of a healthy and green future for all - repeated often by nurses, doctors, scientists and other trusted voices - is the most effective climate communication.

The capacity of nature's carbon sinks — oceans and land — to absorb CO2 emissions is diminishing, due to the fossil fuel industry and its supporters. Reforestation, not CCSU, is buffering this trend. Fossil fuel divestment and nature protection need to be amped up together.
