This is a good opportunity to highlight that BASIC to teaching, much less outstanding teaching, is accessibility. If you've got a TA who helped offer default accessibility to you, making up for the ableism of UC Davis, nominate them.

TODAY - The Los Angeles City Council will vote on whether or not to adopt a package of renter protections that would take effect when the COVID emergency protections end. It is imperative that they vote to adopt these new protections.

COVID tenant protections expire in just 12 days. That’s why we want you to hear from the people whose lives will be affected most – the tenants. If we don’t win permanent protections on Friday, far too many renters will end up on the streets. We can’t let that happen.
