It's the end of an era. After such a distinguished career, has more than earned the right to retire. But what a shame to lose this brilliant public servant in Congress. He is the absolute best, and I am so grateful I got to work for him.

As the nation’s hospitals fill and emergency rooms overflow with critically ill COVID patients, it's the non-COVID patients who have become collateral damage. They, too, need emergency care, but the sheer number of COVID cases is crowding them out.
