mildly amusing, in a way, to watch the mainstream press (read: Caitlin Moran) finally discovering the wonderful truth about "incels". if you float around the internet as often as I do they kind of become a fact of life
I've had the misfortune to have actually encountered "incel" rhetoric firsthand, and the way that they talk about women and girls is so vile and scathing and inhumane that you'd swear it was some really elaborate parody

And as everyone has already said, of course women have the potential to be "incel". But when women are turned down sexually, we tend to believe that it's because of our own flaws, whereas "incel" men blame women, because there's no way they themselves could be flawed, right?

Society conditions women to believe that they are flawed and must constantly improve themselves to have worth. Society conditions men to believe they they sprang from the womb as flawless and that whatever they want is owed to them, especially women.
