Blame Ruth. She could have and should have resigned under Obama. He asked her to. Law professors at Harvard, Yale & Georgetown asked her to. She said no, she said “who better than me?” It is what justices who cared about the balance always did.

The 3 branches are supposed to be co-equal. When 1 branch has too much power, it is the responsibility of the other 2 to return to equilibrium. That is not happening. These aren't unpopular/disliked decisions; this is the dismantling of our constitution before our eyes.

They actually ruled that congress needs to act on the matter, that is exactly the opposite of what you’re saying. The alphabet soup agencies need to go. Legislators need to legislate. Executive fiat needs to go. Not exactly a radical position.

It might surprise you but China is building coal fired plants every month. They and India are largely exempt from the Climate accord goals. They have no intention of complying. US could hit zero emissions and it would not matter.
