Watching a great salesperson sell is like watching a great artist paint. Ask them WHY they do what they do and you get blank stares, because you’re asking the wrong part of their mind - their conscious mind. That mind has no idea.

Totally!! I actually wrote this tweet in the general case first, then thought it might resonate better if I picked a specific example I also tried to pick an example that would cause a bit more emotion (and reframing), because, well, people differ in their views on salespeople!
