This "spy" controversy is based on 2 competing sets of facts. As Lewis writes, "In Donald Trump's America, there really are two Americas" 👇🏼https://twitter.com/mattklewis/status/998899380815048704 …

No, it’s not. It’s based on one set of facts competing with one set of debunked conspiracies designed to shut down an investigation. Lewis gets this right in his piece.

But one America is bigger and smarter. The media continually fails to note that Republicans make up only 24% of voters. ONE QUARTER. You act like they are half of Americans. What matters most is how Independents break.

There aren't two sets of facts. There's a set of facts, and then there's the fever swamp conspiracies that Trump/GOP are pushing to obfuscate and deflect from ongoing rampant Trumpworld criminality. Report it as such.

What’s not a fact? Was there not an informant in the Trump camp and was there no recusal and appointment of special counsel, given that the standard is the **appearance** of a conflict, which clearly there was.

Lol? Seriously? 1. Standard is *appearance* of conflict. 2. ABA Rules include personal or political bias. Hence, the politically appointed DOJ Lynch needed to appoint special counsel to investigate a political adversary.

Hard to blame him, considering his entire world view would collapse if he actually did begin to understand how deeply and thoroughly he's been lied to by all the sources of information he trusts
