Again: CNN will never stop bringing her on. It's a work. Sometimes it's a work that turns into a shoot. But for all the pretty words and moralizing over inveterate liars, the invites keep coming. Because at the end of the day, it's a ratings game and conflict sells.https://twitter.com/jayrosen_nyu/status/998329658818072581 …

"Why does CNN continue to have Kellyanne Conway on?" That's my new post, commenting on @brianstelter's interview with her today. http://pressthink.org/2018/05/why-does-cnn-continue-to-have-kellyanne-conway-on/ … I hope you will read it.

Richard, my question would be who would you suggest they interview? Whether you agree with @brianstelter or not the CNN crew interviews those who work in the White House. What is the alternative?

I like Stelter a lot. He knows this. I've even been on his show (perhaps a first and last appearance). There is an industry of Trump supporters who lack the sheer volume of lies Conway has delivered since 2016. Choose away. Just my opinion: CNN plays itself every time she's on.

Brian- it should be a rule that after one instance of obvious lying, these people don’t get to be on TV anymore. Having them on doesn’t “inform” us. We already know they are grifters. And when you have them on you allow them to gaslight and deliver talking points
