.@BrianStelter says Trump’s claim that his African American support has doubled is “false” but article says “misconstrued.”: http://money.cnn.com/2018/05/06/media/president-trump-approval-rating-blacks/index.html …
Only news outlet to do actual fact-check is USA Today, which found it to be “correct” among black men:https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/05/04/trump-says-kanye-helped-double-approval-ratings-among-blacks-fact-check/581913002/ …

Overall support went up 46%. African American men support went up 50%. According to a legitimate poll. That’s true. Then, caveats to that poll data, which is also true. Trump makes a TON of “false” claims. This isn’t one of them.
-
He said he "doubled my African American poll numbers. We went from 11 to 22 in one week." That's a false statement. I'm just thankful that big news outlets have polling standards. This case shows us what happens when standards are non existent.
-
Dude, you're CNN. You have zero standards. Double THAT number, and you still have zero standards.
-
Steve used to work at CNN. He knows all about our standards.
-
It's apparent. That's why you're being called out.

You and other media build your careers on the only President trying to build our country and bring long over due pride to America. It’s time you stop these senseless attacks and support our president. If you don’t like his job performance then vote him out of office

Because the media lowered the bar so low for the previous president?
