Sometimes it's worth dissecting a single false claim to see HOW it happened. That's what I did with Trump saying "I doubled my African American poll numbers." The pollster says his survey data was misconstrued...http://money.cnn.com/2018/05/06/media/president-trump-approval-rating-blacks/index.html …

How it happened: @DailyCaller posted a misleading story. The claim went viral. It reached POTUS, who talked about it on national TV. His fans were left with the faulty impression that his approval rating has doubled among African Americans.http://money.cnn.com/2018/05/06/media/president-trump-approval-rating-blacks/index.html …

Kind of like Benghazi was a response to a YouTube video? You ate that up

Actually I was a TV reporter for the NYT back then, and I didn't "eat anything up." Why is your instinctive response to my Trump poll story to bring up the Benghazi tragedy?

Because, your personal animus against our elected president, Brian, shows in 💯 of your televised, printed, or social media statements. Certainly there have been accomplishments by this administration worthy of mention. Comes across as biased, so UNreliable sources.

Read the whole thread. I said I want All corruption called out. No defending the lies of either side. There is little journalism anymore. There is an abundance of spin, opinion, and perspective. If it was ok for BC to pay Paula Jones, and Benghazi wasn’t terrorism, where’s truth?

This is such a BS article. You act like this is something peculiar to Trump. Politicians have been interpreting poll results for their own benefit since polling began.

Ok. Was Trump right to do it? Were people left with a misimpression? Do you want to hold all politicians to a terribly low standard?

Truth, facts are Irrelevant. Billy Bush said it best - Trump knows he can say anything and he will have people that believe him. It says a lot about his bad character but says more about his easily duped followers.
