The president says he's at "WAR" with the media. Journalists mostly say, to borrow @PostBaron's line, "we're not at war, we're at work." But his "war" talk changes the press-president dynamic. I think this is the key context for the "dinner debate..."https://snpy.tv/2Krj1be

"I think our top journalists are correct that if they become the political opposition to Trump, they will lose. And yet, they have to go to war against a political style in which power gets to write its own story" --@jayrosen_nyuhttps://www.nybooks.com/daily/2018/04/25/why-trump-is-winning-and-the-press-is-losing/ …

You're predicting the race winner midstream, Mr. Rosen, and setting up a straw man. Why are you and others falling into the trap of diversion from the true mission of journalism?- to inform. It's not about "styles," it's about understanding that mission and the resolve to do it.

This is the by-god dumbest statement these so-called top journalists could ever make. If the #FakePOTUS @realDonaldTrump is going to declare war on the truth then it is every competent journalist's responsibility to oppose him.

If journalism doesn't stand for truth and against lies, it's propaganda. #Trump and his people lie routinely. Theirs is a politics that stands against truth. Of course we're the opposition. Truth is.

They were simpering lapdogs to Obama. You don't get to run interference and cover for an administration for 8 years only to "speak truth to power" the instant an ideological opponent takes office. That is not ethics. That is propaganda.

You all are losing because you are biased. CNN has yet to report on the Secret Service statement on Ronny Jackson as well as the SS Agent who led Obama derail from 2012-2017 who denied all the allgegations against Jackson which included the SS.

CNN has also refused to report on the Russian Attorney connection to Fusion GPS and the fact the Obama’s Admin let her in on a temporary Visa. This is all very relevant to Russian Meddling yet you leave out when reporting, why?

Media has also brushed over Democrats entertaining and holding strategy sessions with known antisemite and racist Louis Farrakhan. If you were truly genuine on combating discrimination you’d be destroying Democrats who refuse to condemn yet you ignore the meetings happened.

You have no reason to be trusted. Today’s media has shown itself to be anything but impartial. Heck just look how you treat Hannity compared to Reid. You all are biased hacks and should be treated as such.

And handing out Nobel prizes to a president one week into his term for nice speeches? Trump won't ever get one for ending the Korean War! The bias is astronomical, this is why people hate and distrust the mainstream media.
