Why are the Presidents moods the hub of news? Why not dig deeper and report on events that will effect the lives of citizens throughout the incompetent administration? There's news.

The key seems to be inventing dots, not connecting them if cnn is any indication.

Moods? Why not report on @POTUS accomplishments instead of moods? Why not wear a mood ring?

Why are reporters making that inference? Doesn’t sound very objective.

When a reporter connects unconnectable dots, they are ascribing their own intelligence and ordered thought processes to something that has neither.

That's not at all what we care about. Your job is to figure out what headlines are important and focus on expanding those - what will change people's lives. The big baby in the white house's mood shouldn't be discussed on your show ever again. It's pointless.

The dots do not connect. If there were any rhyme or reason behind it, it would be a Jackson Pollock presidency. But this is just bad 4-year old finger painting.

They key for any reporter is to not present the chaos & cacophony as though it were a symphony. Rather, place the disparate events in context with current events & historic norms so that readers/viewers can understand just how ridiculous it is.
