So he announced an email investigation...... & Hillary lost. Good job, Comey. Your actions gave us a corrupt, autocratic, Russiian "president".

It's a fascinating, ghastly running thread: all the different factors that helped Trump win but a slightly less awful Republican would not have. If the FBI director playing political pundit is all it takes to change world history, maybe American democracy was never that strong.

Also Comey is clearly an intelligent man. How do you look at whatever probabilities for Trump were on 538 or the Upshot and think they equate to zero? We humans are weird.

Have you been following @mikefarb1 on ballot manipulation, & Trump Tower <--->Russia computer chats? This situation was cumulative damage. Since Reagan's term, +money went to the few. Voters released their anger by picking an outsider, aided by 🇸🇰.

Obama team said same as excuse for why they didn't go public with FBI investigation into Trump. Blunders by one and all.

Comey will get dragged for this on social media and rightly so. Plenty of investigators, prosecutors, judges, and other officers of the law have no difficulty putting politics (including election predictions) aside when doing their jobs.

@Comey has the distinction of been disliked by the left and the right. The fact that he did not straight out admit he was 100% wrong in the way he treated @HillaryClinton makes me dislike him even more.

No shit hey. Absolutely ridiculous he felt as if he had to put the info out so Clinton wouldn't be viewed as illegitimate but there's an illegitimate president now that his direct decisions led to.
