Counter-programming the Facebook hearing: Sinclair's CEO says he is sorry -- not about the controversial promos that local anchors had to read, but about the "politically motivated attacks" that followed. Here's my latest storyhttp://money.cnn.com/2018/04/10/media/sinclair-ceo-apology-promo-controversy/index.html …

David Smith, Chris whoever he is are the types of blockheads that are usually in management position. ‘Tone deaf’ is the best thing I can say about that crew. What gets me is that we’re witnessing it in transition. The ones who are introduced to it might accept it as is.

Don't need Zuck to be my hero against fake news & foreign interference. Can take care of myself, thanks. What I'd love, though, is him ensuring both conservatives & liberals have an equal platform on the site he swears is for "all voices."

I am baffled as to why Congress fails US when it come to slanderous and/or libelous reporting by media sources. Why do they look away at the purposeful intent of a FOX or Sinclair. The FCC pulls licenses from networks, why not investigate the other sources.Congress is guilty, too

did Sinclair prohibit their anchors from introducing the opinion pieces as "and now a word from Sinclair Broadcasting....."?

From what I gather, yes. The pieces were supposed to be presented as op-ed pieces without attribution back to corporate.
