Count me as deeply disappointed that @brianstelter didn't ask the Clinton Cash question. Elemental to the entire NYT/Trump story.https://twitter.com/ma_nyc7/status/983352693740761089 …
Many editions of my program discussed this exact topic. Back in 2016/2017. Here are the transcripts! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/rs.html …

Like this one where you posit that the news is being too nice to Clinton? http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1512/20/rs.01.html …

Dig in! Just don't cherry-pick.

I mean, you said you don't have time to do this when you have the very man who can answer these questions on your show. Why do you assume I or anyone else does?
-
Nope, i said it's not the best use of the time allotted. Relitigating 2016 coverage choices might have made sense in early 2017, but it doesn't make sense to me now in 2018.
-
Are you saying that it doesn't make sense to take critical look at media covered topics in 16? Do you have conclusions on what went wrong about coverage? Have you implemented policies to prevent this in future? If it doesn't make sense to do now, then I expect those ?s answer=yes
-
Because it's demonstrable that the coverage was atrocious. And this, let's not relitigate it line seems like it's saying, "eh so what we made horrendous mistakes and helped elect Trump...let's sweep it under the rug". When in reality, we absolutely should look at what went wrong!
