I don’t think your boycotting actually matters if you are on a troll farm in Russia.

She has the freedom to spew whatever bile she chooses, but she’s not free from consequences of her hate speech. A cable TV platform with commercial sponsorship is not a fundamental human right.

You really think boycotts are wrong? Then how does the average, normal person without a national talk show or column fight back against blatant lies and misinformation? The boycott is how we do it.

Brian, I am a loyal follower. But your questioning the tactic of advertiser boycott was disappointing. Our country is under attack, ATTACK, our institutions and economy being destroyed. Yeah, boycott whatever it takes to get rid of that GOP and tRUmp.

It's the free market, right? As consumers, we're free to take our business elsewhere if we don't approve of the people supported by corporate ad buys, and to tell them so. And the corporations are free to stop buying ads on a show if they think it'll lose them too much business.

“The answer to offensive speech is more free speech”? Do you know what that leaves us with? Pundits and Facebook commenters screaming at each other. Ingraham isn’t affected by your speech or anyone else’s speech. She’s affected by boycotts.

The next step, of course, is being forced to buy products whose makers’ practices one disapproves, for polluting, for example, because otherwise we impinge on the “free market.”

So everyone should just take sides over everything. That’s what you’re promoting? How ‘bout if you don’t like her show don’t watch? Or if she does spew true inciteful hate speech, maybe the FCC or the courts get involved.
