Curious: Did any Sinclair anchors refuse to read this? If so, what happened to them? CC: @brianstelter who broke this story.https://twitter.com/deadspin/status/980175772206993409 …

And hopefully, those that refused will be quickly hired by actual news programs. Those that read it are not journalists.
I assume some will be realizing for the first time they've been used. I want to hear from any of these reporters now about how they feel about their role in the most dystopian thing I've ever seen.
my mom, in Seattle, says KOMO lost some reporters over it this last year, whether they quit or were fired she didn't know.
This unabashed bIllionaire control over media is #unamerican and #undemocratic. They count on uncritical TV-watching drones to accept #lies & #doublespeak. This #propaganda allows the greedy #oligarchy to get richer & more powerful, while the rest suffer. #1984 #citizensunited

I also had thought that they stayed fairly balanced but after this, just can’t say that anymore.
This is so disconcerting. I live in a valley by side of Cold Mtn & cut cords a few years ago. Can get only @WLOS_13 via dig antenna. Need streaming 4 upstate SC channels. Will switch to CBS & pay the $6/mo. to avoid Sinclair. Will also be contacting local advertisers to protest.
I love this, true patriots, regardless of party can agree that things like this are only dividing us more. I contacted the station, refuse to watch while they promote propaganda.
My mom as well, she’s identified independent for years now. Your views sound a lot like hers.
Their alma maters should revoke their journalism degrees.
Good for them.
On a related note, two high -profile local reporter/anchors (Ben Bradley & Lauren Jiggetts) joined WGN-TV shortly before the Sinclair/Trib deal was announced. Curious if their contracts have an out for change of ownership?
