It's the "fair and balanced" of 2018https://twitter.com/AaronBlake/status/980443571710021632 …

Sinclair script is written to sound innocuous and unobjectionable to regular people. No doubt, the stir it’s causing will make some on right accuse its critics of hating fairness and balance. But its purpose is clear and the fact that people were compelled to read it is bizarre.

Sinclair is potentially far more insidious than Fox News. Everybody knows what Fox News is all about, but to most viewers, their local Sinclair station is just "ABC," "NBC," or "CBS."

What exactly is “balanced” about 40 news anchors reading the same script. I call that seriously one sided..and boring

It was frightening to listen to a bunch of talk show hosts reading the exact same script in unison. We must get rid of these people or one day we’ll wake up to Putin with orange skin and hair...running our country!

After listening to and reading a script it does sound innocuous enough. But, keep in mind, the only people claiming there is fake news are conservatives.

@aaronblake Did a single Sinclair anchor say "No, I'm not reading this crap."?

One would hope somebody, somewhere in193 Sinclair stations would have the cajones to say no. Even if it does mean their job.
