Let me tell you something #BabyTits, the words “here are the facts” and “CNN” do not fit together, at all. Why? Because you and @CNN are #FakeNews Personally, I don’t believe a single thing you or @CNN says. Not a single, damn thing.

.@USPS funded by Postage, NOT Taxes. Big volume mailers incl @amazon @FedEx @UPS have negotiated rates (NSAs) on private terms. Add volume, incremental revenues shared systemwide -- not losing, but not cash cows. Congress mandate on prefunding retirees out 70 yrs is BIGGEST hurt.

The point is that this President has abused his power to obstruct justice ( #RussiaGate ) and is now abusing his power with a personal vendetta against and American business. Both should be impeachable offenses.

USPS, from a worker and customer perspective, has its problems. But it's not losing money. The "losses" only appear given how they've had to report the 70 years of retirement liabilities they were forced to pre-fund by Congress from 2005 to 2016.

Framing it to say USPS "can't afford" its retirement obligations is nicely pro-privatization and anti-worker, though. No company other than USPS has been forced to pre-fund every retiree who will ever exist in living memory. It's an insane demand.

But it plays well into the hands of USPS Management and Congress, who both have incentives to fully complete the privatization process that started when the Department of the Post Office incorporated as USPS in the 1970s and share an interest in crushing the postal unions.
