Those kids don't want to get murdered, how dare they

Do you really truly believe anyone "wants to get murdered?" What's the point of this reply?
-
You’re equating the rhetoric of kids who, less than 2 months ago, were stalked by gunman in their school to the rhetoric of adults who openly threaten violence if they don’t get their way.

-
Exactly. Brian is using the “both sides” argument to equate students who recently experienced a massacre committed by a person using an assault weapons to find Les who don’t want any reasonable gun control & some of whom profit from gun violence

The left was civil after Sandy Hook. Republicans blocked every single measure proposed. Kids continue to die. We’re outraged & the response is “Don’t politicize tragedy!” We wait six weeks & get “You’re not being polite enough.” Folks had same arguments in Civil Rights fight.
-
The left is always chided as being too nice and accommodating, but if we fight back and speak our truth, CNN puts us on the same level as hateful, conspiracy-peddlers and then calls a group of evangelical women over to trash talk a woman and praise a criminal adulterer.
-
The standards are different; not sure why. Best explanation I have at the moment is that the media is more afraid of the right (not intended to be a slight). But the outrage howler monkeys hate CNN regardless, so I don’t get the pretzels to portray

citizens that want to keep their constitutional rights. Last month tide pods, this month 2A.
-
What rights are threatened? None. Bans on specific weapons, registration - none of that opposes your 2A rights. Do please get a grip on your paranoia.

what rhetoric from Hogg et al has been "too far"?
-
Maybe it’s that they’re calling out how owned the politicians are and you’re not supposed to insinuate that huge campaign contributions buy their positions

The kids went too far? You mean our kids who have to go back to school tomorrow without their 17 friends and teachers who were gunned down? Those kids were running and hunted and shot in their backs and heads until it was difficult to identify them.
-
Sorry, but you’re saying the MSD students have gone to far? Understand this, they have not even gotten started. They are just beginning to make a change. And they have a whole lot of people behind them

Their friends WERE MURDERED in front of them. Please tell me what is the appropriate level of anger they should display that is acceptable to you without them “going too far”?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/553937/ … Read this and hold a thought for the six year old bodies at Sandy Hook. What is the appropriate response to carnage like this?
