Imagine how bad ratings for
@CNN would be if they didn't pay places like airports to put them. -
CNN's ratings don't include airports or any other out of home viewing. Nielsen ratings measure AT HOME viewership. So when you see ratings for Fox, CNN, etc, it's only counting people at home. There are separate measurements for out of home.

It's more sad to see someone so smart fundamentally misunderstanding what journalism is. Talk about an illusion...CNN = FAKE NEWS!pic.twitter.com/xTFzyTBQOR

Talk about illusion...... CNN has to buy its viewers by paying airports (and other places) to keep their network on,and in turn, CNN thinks their
don’t stink! YOUR NETWORK PAYS FOR ITS VIEWERS!!!!

Cable news ratings measure at HOME viewership. Out of home viewership (airports bars offices) is measured separately

Brian, do your ratings metrics count airport TV’s as real views?

Brian Stelter is the poster child for soy boys. He has delusions of grandeur as well. Poor little thing thinks he is still relevant. Go find some more ancient porn stars to interview, dude.

-
It’s sad to see someone completely mischaracterize a story. The YouTube views were completely irrelevant to the story. Stelter must work for one of those “reliable” news sources.
