I thought the show dealt with sensitive issues in an intelligent way - a way most on the left would agree with. Unfortunately, due to Roseanne's election time antics, there is a blind rage towards her from some. I say watch the show and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Great show! Everyone is sick of the endless Trump bashing shows (including CNN) today.
#Roseanne is a genius and is showing both sides in a funny way! -
Both sides, like those who think it’s awful that a man would brutally assault his own wife, and the others who think it makes him fit to lead the country?
-
Why are you bringing Bill Clinton into this?

She may not be a Conservative but she supports our president and that's important these days. GREAT show.

Reminder: Non-hyped episodes of The Beverly Hillbillies routinely drew 57 million viewers in 1962-64.
-
That's when there were only 3 channels bud.
-
Yeah I know the landscape is radically different. Still, 'Hillbillies' drew 65% (!) of the viewing audience, and Roseanne gets hyped for drawing - what? - 5%?
-
Are you kidding? To say the landscape is radically different is an understatement of Biblical proportions! Again, there were 3 channels then, no Internet, no cell phones, no streaming, no computers. You cannot be taken seriously making stupid comparisons like that.

Have a nice day.

I don't like trump but the show handles her being a trump supporter very well. I grew up watching Roseanne. Anyone who was working class could basically relate to that family, black, white whatever. I always loved the realness of it.
-
Guys, I love Trump and agree with everything else you said.. see there still is common ground in this country
