Do you not understand how your myopic approach to unravel him is detrimental to all of us? Can you even fathom what this would feel like if this were aimed at you? Whether someone is for Trump or against Trump, this country needs respect for the office.

Respect for the office and blind devotion to the current occupier of said office aren't the same thing derp
-
I'm sure the "respect for the office" folks were among the first to speak up when the vast majority of their conservative peers were denigrating Barack Obama. Fortunately, that was only 2 years ago. They should have TONS of documentary evidence of criticizing the denigration.

@realDonaldTrump If his friends are so worried about him, they should tell him to resign and get rid of the pressure. It will only get worse. -
There's no one; the closest thing to a real friend Trump ever had was Roy Cohn(!). And Trump's family is ... well, emotionally crippled & focused on getting as much as they can before the gravy train derails.

Trump thought running for President was just another scam, but got caught up in something he wasn’t ready for. Scrutiny. Trump Tower has 58 floors. Somehow, Trump lives on the 68th. He’s never, in his life, been more than a lazy, snake oil salesman.

He brought it on himself. Flew too close to the sun. He should have stuck to slapping his name on buildings and laundering RU $$. Now he’s toast.

But is anyone 'alarmed' enough to do anything about it? No of course not. They'll keep on being concerned, alarmed, worried, whatever synonym they decide to use

They should send thoughts and prayers

Maybe someone could go on Faux & Fiends in the morning and encourage him to resign via tweet since he only seems to listen to them.

Anything more we can do make him self combust?
-
Supposedly humans have spontaneously combusted; hard to believe. But, if Pres Trump spontaneously combusted, he would be in his all too common “my arms are folded and I hate all of you” pose with steam coming out of his ears.

When I read this article this morning it sounded like a re-tread, & I wondered exactly this. How could this week/month possible be different? So,
@maggieNYT, I and others prolly very curious: what has changed? He’s always been isolated, erratic and under siege. -
If Jared and Ivanka are (rightly) forced out, he's toast. I truly believe he can't cope without trusted family (Incl the departed Hicks) to interpret, cajole, and reassure him.
-
It’s a fair hypothesis. But it assumes that as he moves from decades of power mafia to bureaucratic org (under Kelly), that he’d be unaware of his own needs. After all, apparently he’s complicit in waning Javanka presence. Hence my Q: what’s new here?
-
Porter and Hicks departing are a big blow. Porter kept the office functioning. As ex, this tariff fiasco would not have happened. Hicks was his "emotional" support. I would add in the fact that's he's apparently on a diet. No cheeseburgers. That'll make him crazy for sure.
