Wow. On the day of the #MSD shooting, students in AP Government were learning about special interest groups like the NRA. "The students learned how the NRA goes to work as soon news reporters and the public move on to the next story..."https://splinternews.com/the-teacher-who-taught-his-students-to-challenge-the-nr-1823355017 …

So they teach Liberal propaganda. Did he teach them how Planned Parenthood spends 100x on lobbying congress than the NRA does?

Great, now we know where these poor kids learned all their leftwing talking points. Focus on the guns, not on the real problem. Deflect from anything that might reflect badly on Democrats, and focus on the inanimate object. Did he teach Alinsky's principles, too?

Let's talk about Columbine, it happened in 1999 in middle of the "Federal assault weapons ban" yet one of the weapons used was an illegal TEC-9.

The alt-right is going to demand that teacher to resign. Just wait. I say way up go, teach!

-
The hard left would demand that a pro-NRA teacher be fired. Notice the difference? LOL.

and the NRA wants to give this liberal propagandist a weapon? /s
-
There's another strawman. The NRA wants serious, trained people to have a weapon with which to defend against maniacs, whereas you and this teacher want the next school to be as totally defenseless as this one. Better to be slaughtered than agree with that icky NRA, right?

The NRA is a civil rights group. You might not like them or the right they defend, but their power doesn't come from "selling guns", it comes from advocating for the rights of their 5 million members and 70 million++ gun owners.
-
I wonder if the teacher described the ACLU as a "special interest group" or implied they were just doing the bidding of the media companies? What about PETA, Planned Parenthood and the AARP and NAACP? Are those "special interest groups" or do they get a more noble title?
-
Yes, as the story notes, the lesson included talk about the NAACP as a special interest group.
-
Civil rights should be considered a universal interest.
