My favorite thing that happened on TV today was @brianstelter fretting that a Fox News person would spin that @ktumulty compared Russian election interference to Pearl Harbor...

I updated the article. So I'm clear though, you don't think a Pearl Harbor comparison—more than 2,400 Americans were killed in that attack—would be worthy of criticism?
-
...That's precisely why I interjected. TV hosts challenge guests in lots of different ways. I sometimes challenge guests through a media lens. Maybe take up the comment with the guest who said it?
-
Then I'm amused/struck that you specifically said Fox News would have a problem with her comments. I think plenty of people would take issue with comparing Russian election interference, serious as it is, to a surprise attack that killed 2,400 Americans.

Every time B.S. says Fox News, CNN loses viewers. They just have to check Fox out and are usually stay. Fox thanks B.S.

Even Brian watches Fox News.

Too much Fox News

So should we do as Roosevelt did and declare war on Russia? How many deaths would be acceptable, in your view, to vanquish the loss of your preferred candidate?

Brian could you tweet an article that gives an in-depth explanation about what the Obama administration did or didn’t do to stop the Russian meddling? Thanks!

Do you understand the stupidity of comparing this to Pearl Harbor? If so why did you go after FOX News and not her?
-
Are you sure there is no comparison AT ALL? It doesn't have to be the same item-by-item to have some analogous connections. This Russian cyber attack may even be so insidious that it risks killing or enslaving millions over the next decades. A seemingly slow attack, still deadly.

It was a couple dozen paid trolls and a few Facebook ads get a grip and some perspective. Good grief.

I saw more than a couple dozen Russian trolls on my little FB page!https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2018/02/17/a-former-russian-troll-speaks-it-was-like-being-in-orwells-world/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-main_troll-interview-945am%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.7fd7540af3d3 …

It's a pathological obsession with Fox. Guess deep down Choppers longs to see what an actual news network does.
-
Yes, it's totally pathological to raise an eyebrow at comparing Twitter trolling to the deaths of 2,400 people.
