        I hope other companies join the cause. FB, Twitter, Google and others have a responsibility to more than their shareholders. They have an obligation to the world to help thwart the rise of authoritarians.

        Great newsletter. I’d suggest adding to the calendar — in addition to Chinese New Year celebrations — Friday, 16. February is Black Panther Day. Yeah, it’ll be treated like a holiday; it’s a BFD (especially #onhere).

        just a thought... is it possible that so many of these problems faced by young people are because their whole lives they've always been protected? or at least expect to be? at what point do they learn to protect themselves?
