No "This Is Us" spoilers here, but I keep thinking about the way that final act was constructed. The kitchen clean-up, the note, the flashbacks. Best 5 minutes of the show since the end of the pilot, IMHO.pic.twitter.com/3ubTlFytuE

And this line. What a line. Randall talking to Kevin about their dad: "It goes quick, bro. He's already been gone for 20 years. He's already been gone longer than we had him." My dad died when I was 15, and I had a similar thought after I turned 30.

And it doesn't get any easier to lose your dad after 50 years either. It's still one of the hardest things to get through.

I lost my Dad 8 years ago and my Mom 10 months ago. This song just hits home. Thank you for sharing. And I’m so sorry that you lost your father so young. He must have been an amazing man to produce a son like you!

My dad died when I was 19. This year will mark 19 years without him. Doesn't feel like it. Feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago.

You've just made me realize that this is more than true about my mother. Wow! I have to admit that the day I turned 58 and realized I was older then than she was when she died was another "moment".

That line was brutal. And while not the same as a father, I realized I am at that point now with my beloved grandmother and that breaks my heart.
