But while the media are distracted by "OMG look what he just tweeted!", bigger stories like what he is doing to punish MEDICAID recipients go under-reported. This is a huge story. Some print outlets are discussing it, but not many on TV.

That's the fatal flaw of any attempt to discredit the book. I don't really care how credible or not the author is. I have eyes and ears and have seen it for myself. Trump is the book's biggest promoter.

Story of the week. Dems are desperate for something, anything, to take down Trump. Nothing will work.
-
Yes and any one of these things would have taken down an average President in the past. That’s how sad American society has become and how low it has sunk.

By "thesis" do you mean "fabricated conversations to suit his anti Trump bigotry?" Before you answer remember that in the preface of his book he confirms he was making things up. "Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are ....... baldly untrue"
-
Wolff wasn’t making things up. The people he quotes were. He’s trying to glean the truth from multiple lying sources about the same events. It’s like averaging out the lies.
-
His preface, in his words, in his book, says he made things up.
-
I just looked at the Dedication, Author's notes and prologue, and can't find where he says he made stuff. Can you point me to that. Just curious how I missed it. Thanks.
-
"Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue." He goes on to say *he* decided which ones were true. So this is not whats really true

With due respect, story of the week is GOP leaders continue to excuse and appease a president intent on dismantling norms of acceptable behavior for a POTUS.

Yes, exactly! As many insiders have said, there may be errors in some of he details but the gist of the overall stories are true. Unfortunately, some people hear "errors" and believe they can use that as an excuse to condemn the entire book, but it just doesn't work that way
