1. The topic was immigration, not corrupt gov'ts (see, Trump et al). 2. Credibility is a fragile thing. Using the term SJW pretty much destroys it.

Just look at the term social justice warrior. If a portion of your populace can spin that into an insult, doesn't that kind of say it all about where your country is in terms of compassion and intellect?
-
1. It still doesn’t apply diff context to the statement itself, and I would want to emigrate out of a “shithole” too, not that I’m siding with anyone here 2. Used “SJW” = no cred... ‘“SJW” should not be an insult’... um, is “media” also an insult then?
-
It shouldn't be IMO.

The question mark is a tip-toe.

I feel like people want the press to cross a line but then would complain when the press isn't trusted anymore. We can draw conclusions from what's presented. Having no media sources left would mean we're really in trouble.

Well said, kudos.Been trying to convey this to each of my media-hater friends+family members. If your ideals clash with the truth, you will inevitably call the person who purveys the truth untrustworthy. If you do believe in truth, you'll suffer indirectly from those who villify it
