He’s at 36% approval. You think a better cover story is warranted? Does 36% spell success? Media got it exactly right.

Trump's poll numbers range from high 30's to mid 40's in various polls. Obama's poll numbers were similar at the end of his first year which were mid to high 40's.

Depends on which poll you use. & your rounding obscures. Obama was at 49% in early 2010; trump at 37%. A huge diff. Obama never hit below 41% while trump's avg bottom so far is 35%--in the week just concluded. Also, the 2009 sluggish econ. hurt O. T boasts of a current boom.pic.twitter.com/zJRr1ZfD6s

That's just the Gallop poll. Obama was lower than 49% in several polls at end of first year and was down in low 30's in some polls after that. Obama never had 95% negative media coverage from Liberal media like Trump does.

Good gawd. trump gets negative covg from the media because he does stupid, terrible things. trump's reality creates the so-called bias against him. Now give me links showing Obama in the 30s. I bet even conservative pollster Rasmussen never had him that low. Surprise me.

And oh, btw, once trump's 'piss down on avg Joes and Janes, and make the rich richer' econ policies kick in in the next 6 mos or so, his ratings will not be in the toilet, they'll be in the sewer heading out to sea.

FYI Rassmussen, Obama avg approval ratings '09-16 Lowest 41% Vast majority well over 50% So either your wishes color your memory or you're referring to a really obscure poll. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/obama_approval_index_history …

So you’re saying if you raid the treasury and create a $1.6 trillion deficit and give companies those billions of dollars that they will pass it along? But government is now not able to pay its bills and runs up deficits. Hmmm

A mere half a percent increase in GDP will more than make up the projected increase in the deficit, Izod Boy.
