Sinclair is the latest company to announce a $1,000 end of the year bonus for employees “as a result of tax reform.” Here’s the press release http://sbgi.net/pr-news/sinclair-broadcast-group-announces-1000-special-bonus-as-a-result-of-tax-reform/ …

Why a bonus and not a salary increase? Because this is strictly a PR move. Boost their salaries PERMANENTLY and give them decent annual increases. But of course they won’t.

And when annual increases come along next year, employees will get even less because of those “$1000 bonuses”. And that’s supposed to mollify them.

Do people realize 1. That will be taxable income at 2017 rates and 2. The companies won’t get the benefit of the #GOPTaxScam until the law goes into full effect-which means they have the cash on hand today? Besides Sinclair is propaganda.

I'm noticing that many announcing bonuses also benefited from the Net Neutrality decision. (AT&T, Comcast)...coincidence?

If the middle class tax cut expires in few years and corporation tax cut is permanent, why are republicans calling it middle class tax cut? I honestly need an answer anyone http://www.soyouknow.info/blog/goptaxcut
