This is a must-read from a former "Today" production assistant who says she had a consensual relationship with Matt Lauer. "He went after the most vulnerable and the least powerful..."https://twitter.com/Variety/status/941420036513763329 …

I feel sorry for Lauer's wife. I'm sure she's been aware of his activities for as long as they've been married. I'm also sure she's probably fed the hell up with it, too.

Give me a break. Consensual relationships and harassment are two different things. Time for a little #personalresponsibility

Seems as if , at times, me too has become a dumping ground for people’s historic self image issues. Everyone has past events that are uncomfortable. Just once I would like to hear a story about non famous people.

This strong woman has certainly done a brave thing. A woman should never be put in this situation, it is hard to know how to respond with someone who has that kind of power.

They always do, in every business... it is not about men and sex necessarily. It's about power first and foremost.

I don’t agree. She made a decision that she later regretted. Fully consensual, no coercion. At some point you have to take responsibility.

Wow, a 24 yo professional has a consensual affair and then ruins her ex-lovers life 17 years later w a non-story story that Variety publishes and CNN validates through promotional garbage like this. This is NOT A STORY. NEWS ALERT, WOMAN SLEEPS WITH MARRIED MAN 17 YEARS AGO! WTF
