Ask yourself is it OK for journalists to report fake news?

Of course journalists shouldn’t “report fake news.” When mistakes are made, they’re corrected.

How many "mistakes" have been made in a year that negatively reflect on @realDonaldTrump vs 8 years of Obama? No comparison which proves our point.

But you’d agree that the damage is done, correct? So what good does it do to spread lies and then give a half-assed “apology” with no repercussions?

Journalists live by the credo - “If it bleeds, it leads.” - They need to get it on the air as quick as possible to “scoop” the competition. Add to that their liberal bias and what you get is #MSNBCiles and the like. @Scully64 @MrSnerdley @RealJamesWoods @GregGutfeldShow

Sounds like a meteorologist. ‘So we’re wrong sometimes, big deal.. as long as we *try* and we correct it when we can.’ That’s cute except “clarifications” and retractions will never put Pandora back in the box. Zero accountability for mass dissemination of misinformation.

Mistakes wouldn't be made if the so called "journalists" actually researched before reporting. Like rabid dogs trying to bite on anything that is anti-Trump. Dems &Republicans are getting tired of the lies & retraction cycles.

In this case it’s not about the mistake, rather about the sourcing. If @cnn does not provide a plausible explanation, this will remain a major black mark on the network.
