Now if Democratic Senators could just see this as reason to roll-back the pressure on #Franken. When they realize "they got this one wrong" it's not as easy to fix someone political career destroyed because of an inappropriate joke.

I hated that tweet though I understood the satire but it was a repugnant way to frame it. I am glad they reinstated him and I wish he understood how the way he treated the subject matter was painful and ugly.
