Exclusive: There’s been talk about a possible big $30 million payout for Matt Lauer. But no — Lauer "will not be paid past his last day of work," a senior NBC News source tells mehttp://money.cnn.com/2017/12/01/media/matt-lauer-payout-nbc/index.html …

NBC might not want that either, depending on how many blind eyes were turned or complaints swept under the rug.

Ahh...thats too frickin bad he'll probably miss his rent. And a car payment. All these assholes make so much $ and are so arrogant they think they've been put out. What about the all women who lost their careers over the years.Screw those guys. All multi multi millionaires.

Does he get to keep his no-doubt sweet lifetime paid health-care benefits? If I were still getting paid as a journalist, I'd scour Comcast/NBC SEC filings to see if Lauer is mentioned. Sometimes, big personal-services contracts, like his outrageous one, turn up on the record.

Wait till Annette files and takes her big payout. Matt will become desperate eventually, he’ll most likely get addicted to hair plugs like Joe The Jackass Buck did. Oh the mighty fall because of their own vanity.

Now that Matt's broadcasting career is over, he should get into red state electoral politics. As we saw in the case of Trump and now Judge Roy Moore, far from disqualifying a candidate, sexual predation makes a candidate more electable in the South.

This likely isn’t really a choice by NBC to pay or not pay him — entirely depends on his contract

Devil’s certain to be in the sub clauses. Contract law has its own space. And no one walks from that much money if it’s contracted as his due.

No morality clause + payout if terminated even for Cause = hard not to pay him
